Becky Essay
The story “Becky and the Wheels and Brake Boys” was written by James Berry. It tells of a girl named Becky who really wants a bike but can’t get one until the end of the story. Becky is a credible character. She shows that she is credible through what she feels, says, and does. Becky is believable because she wants to fit in with the other children. For example, Becky thinks, “I only want to be with Nat, Aldo, and Ben.” They all have bikes and she only wants one too, so she could ride and play with them. This proves that Becky is credible because lots of people have a time when they want something that will help them fit in with other kids. Becky keeps asking her mom for a bike.Becky says to herself, “Over and over I told my mom I wanted a bike.” A while later she tells her other, “I still want to have a bike badly.” In order to get what she wants, Becky thinks she has to ask several times and give reason for how she feels towards the item. This shows Becky is believable because almost all kids loves begging for thing until they get them. Finally, another reason that Becky is a credible character is because she always fought with her friend. As an example, Becky thinks, “For the first time me and Shirnette had a real fight, because of what I hated most.” Shirnette wanted to get back at Becky because Becky had put a centipede her shirt, so she got even by putting a cockroach in Becky’s blouse. This proves that Becky is a realistic character because a lot of best friends get in fights, but then they make up. In conclusion, Becky, the main character “Becky and the Wheels and Brake Boys,” is believable because of her emotions, her words, and her actions. That means that she is your average kid
Eleven
The story Eleven written by Sandra Cisnero, tells about a credible character Rachel. Rachel is very shy and doesn't know what to do when the teacher gives her an ugly red sweater that she doesn't like.
One reason why I think that Rachel is credible is because she is like some kids in my class. When the teacher falsely accused her of having an ugly red sweater, she got too shy and couldn’t say anything back. That helps me to understand that she is credible because there has been a time when my teacher falsely accused one of my classmates of not doing his work, but instead of telling the teacher that he already did it, he said because he was too shy.
Another reason why I know Rachel is credible is because when she didn’t know what to say, she just got too sad and couldn’t say anything without crying. I know Rachel is credible from that because, there has been a time where I was sad when somebody was trying to tell me something that I knew was wrong so all I could do is cry and not say anything. Everybody cries when they are sad, including Rachel.
To me in my opinion, “Rachel is like a wooden doll” she fells trapped inside her younger ages. I know that because in the story Sandra Cisneros said,” Rachel feels like she is eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, and one.” I can believe that because there has been a time where I’ve done something that I would have done may be like two or three years ago. For example when I turned ten for some reason I just had an urge to play with my action figures that I had for about three years.
Rachel is a believable character because I use to know some one like that. Not everybody knows what to say when somebody tries to tell them something, but when you try to say something back they just ignore and keep saying the same thing. Rachel is a credible credible character.
Dear, Mom
Proxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 Cspan style=""> I know that I have been very irresponsible but I have a Proxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 eat way to make that change, a dog. It will help me in a great way so that I will be responsible enough to take care of a dog.
Think about it I always watch television and play video games, because I usually have nobody to play with and or to go some where with, but on the other hand a dog will always keep me busy and won’t have to have my face planted in the television. Also did you know that if we got a dog there would be a 65% less chance of getting robbed. One more thing is that you know how grandma comes to visit our house a lot well did you know that if you have a dog grandma will truly live longer. I know you hate always having the heater on when I’m cold because it wastes electricity and makes the bill a lot higher, but when I am cold I can just cuddle up with the dog and stay warm. That may take almost 50$ off of our bill.
Oh and I know there will be a lot of concerns but I have all the answers to you concerns. Yeah they leave a lot of presents you or should I say I have to pick up that’s no problem because I can train it to only do its business outside or on the training mat inside. They also cost a lot of money but I just met this vet that said he would give us a 50% discount whenever we come to take our dog. Yeah and I know dad gets allergic to dogs but we came get a cockapoo, that doesn’t shed its fur, so dad doesn’t start to sneeze. If I don’t keep to my word then we can take it back, but that won’t happen I promise.
So know that you’ve heard about my big plan in getting a dog, just think about it you can either not get me a dog and I end up living like a slob and just watching television and playing vi
